Dr Majid Abi Saab, MOREP President, during a meeting held with MOREPISTS this evening said that the review of the so-called 1960’s law should benefit the federalism as future development within a multi-radical population.
Elected deputies should not be changing rules in the proposed law to benefit themselves politically.
Most of Lebanese want a real change of political figures, he added; this law, especially the way of voting proposed by the interior minister will give the opportunity of the voter to choose without pressure or interference with others decision.
Hoping the next poll will pass without hazard on candidates as well as on voters, MOREP will be represented, expected to be extended to most parts of Lebanon even if it seems to be difficult at this time.
