Warning: do not warm plastic containing Bisphenol A

Milk plastic bottles are used to feed babies. Containing Bisphenol A, an estrogen-active compound 4,4-isopropylidene diphenol which possess also phenolic hydroxyl group, might have an estrogene properties. When plastic is heated for purpose of cleaning or warming the milk inside, it releases this substance and also other substances like cylohexene derivative.
The impact of chronic use of plastic bottles specially to feed babies on general health might have medical problems. This substance is known to increase the risk of Breast cancer, Prostate cancer and whatsoever.
In USA, removing this substance is considered in the regulation of plastic production designated for food.
In Europe the regulation is not yet adopted. The recommendation at the moment is to use glaze milk bottles instead of plastic ones to feed babies.
