Traffic safety is a must of healthy conduct. MOREP reform chapter put a reform plan including car importations to the Lebanese territory as well as 6-8 wheels Trucks coming through land borders.
The goal is to reduce traffic accident caused by imported cars from abroad with previous history of severe accident or broken cars as well as traffic accident caused by 6 wheels out of norm trucks that come through land borders.
MOREP proposed a ministerial decision by the interior ministry for an amendment to stop the introduction into the Lebanese territories of used cars with history of severe accidents; and second, to establish check points in the Lebanese land borders to stop the 6 wheels trucks traffics inside the Lebanese territory which are not fulfilling the safety norms.
Many other issues are revised and all are listed in MOREP reform plan.
